When did our U3AC generation first realise that our environment is the Earth and our fragile atmosphere?

• Only One Earth (UN) Also 1972?

• James Lovelock's Gaia 1972?

We now understand how interconnected all life is, and that humans' burning of fossil fuels is causing global warming.   So - what can our generation do for the youngsters? Education is the main remit of the Environment Group and we can afford to  donate books to our local nurseries, reception classes and upwards...
